Since IBPS has invited the applications online,so applicants must know the complete procedure for Applying Online for IBPS recruitment.Here we have presented step by step procedure for Applying Online for IBPS Clerical Recruitment 2011.

Application Fees: An Application fees of Rs 50 (For SC/ST/PWD/EXSM) and Rs 350 (For General) candidates will have to be deposited either through Online Mode or by Offline Mode:

(A)Offline Mode: In Offline mode candidates will have to deposit the Above mentioned application fees by personally visiting the Branches of Participating banks.There are two Offline Modes for Depositing the Application fees

(I)Payment of Application fees through CBS Branches of the following 6 Public Sector banks
Bank of Baroda,Bank of India,Central Bank of India,Indian Overseas Bank,Punjab National Bank and  United Bank of India

(II) Payment of Application fees through NEFT in any of the remaining Banks.

(I)Payment of Application fees through CBS Branches of the following 6 Public Sector banks
The CBS Challan Form is to used for depositing application fees in the banks Mentioned below


Bank of Baroda (Account No. 03970200001597),
Bank of India (Account No. 005120110000777),
Central Bank of India (Account No. 3135147199),
Indian Overseas Bank (Account No. 143502000000850),
Punjab National Bank (Account No. 3985002100046381),
United Bank of India (Account No. 0284053402005)

Candidates will have to Download the CBS Challan form then take the Print out of the Challan form then fill all the details like (Name,Father`s Name,Depositing bank etc). After that candidates will have to deposit the form along with fees.Collect the candidates copy from the branch.Please check that challan is properly signed and details of Transaction Number,Branch name and DP code Number along with deposit date


(II) Payment of Application fees through NEFT in any of the remaining Banks.

Candidates can Download the NEFT Challan from IBPS Official website (www.ibps.in). Candidates will then have to fill the NEFT Voucher with the following details

Name of the Account : IBPS CWE- Clerical Cadre- 2011
Account Number : 005120110000778
Payee Bank : Bank of India
IFSC Code : BKID0000051

Candidates will then have to deposit the NEFT Voucher along with Application fees and check the details in the candidates copy like Branch Name,UTR Number etc

(B) Online Mode: In Online mode there is no need for depositing the Application fees by visiting the bank personally.


The Payment Gateway is integrated with Online Application form and candidates will have to deposit fees at the time of filling the Online Registration form.

For Online Payment of Application fees candidates must have either the Internet Banking Facility or have the Credit Card,Debit card,Master/VISA card.

After the amount is deducted from the account the System will Generate an Electronic Receipt.This Receipt must be printed and preserved till the written exam and will be submitted to invigilator in the examination hall

Procedure for Filling the Online Application form:

Before Applying Online candidates must ensure that they have the following details:

  • Scanned Photo and Signature
  • Details of Application fees
  • A valid Email Address
  • Details of Marks of the Qualifying Examinations
Candidates can apply only at the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in)

At the Homepage (www.ibps.in),candidates must click on the scrolling Link at the top Marked as "COMMON WRITTEN EXAM FOR RECRUITMENT IN CLERICAL CADRE IN 19 PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS" (http://www.ibps.in/html/common.htm)

It will open a New page.On this Page candidates will have to click on the Link Marked as "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE - CLERICAL CADRE NOVEMBER 2011" (http://ibpsreg.sifyitest.com/cwet_claug11/)

On this New page candidates will have to click on the "Apply Online" Link.It will open the Online Application form

Candidates will have to fill the Online Application Form with utmost care.

After submitting the Online form "A System Generated Application form" will be generated.This form must be preserved and printed till the Exam is over

The System will also generate Registration Number and Password and that must be preserved for Editing the details of the Application form

For the first IBPS is conducting ALL India Common Bank Entrance Exam 2011 on 18th September 2011.IBPS issued the notification on 6th July 2011 and the online registration for the exam started on 8th July 2011

IBPS Online Registration 2011: IBPS has clearly mentioned in its notification that only online application form will be accepted.Before applying online for IBPS Online Registration 2011,applicants must ensure that they possess the following details and documents

  • Scanned Signature (Size :10 Kb to 20 Kb)

  • Details of Marks in Qualifying Examination
IBPS Online Application form 2011:Applicants can fill the IBPS Online Application form 2011 at the official website of IBPS (www.ibps.in).The direct link for opening the Online Application form is:

  • http://registration.sifyitest.com/cwet_pojun11/ (This Link is only for Common Written Exam for PO`s and MT`s to be held on 18th September 2011)
Application Fees: Applicants will have to deposit the application fees of Rs 450/- (General) and Rs 50/-(Reserved)  (via two modes (Online mode as well as Offline mode)

Online mode: In online mode candidates will have to deposit the application fee only at the time of filling the online application form through Debit cards,Internet Banking and Credit Cards

Offline Mode: In Offline mode,candidates will have to deposit the fees mentioned above in any of the branches of 19 participating banks.For Depositing the application fees via offline mode candidates will have to download the Cash Voucher from IBPS Official website and submit the duly filled cash voucher along with application fees in the branches of the participating banks.

Steps for IBPS Online Registration 2011:

  • Candidates can apply online at the official website of IBPS (www.ibps.in)
  • Candidates will have to click on the link marked as "Common Written Examination"
  • After that a new page will be opened,on this page candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- PROBATIONARY OFFICER/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES SEPTEMBER 2011"
  • Then it will open the Online Application form,Candidates will have to follow the on-screen instructions and fill the application form.After filling the application form the system will generate a Registration Number and Password that must be kept secure for future reference.
  • After that candidates must take print out of "System Generated Application form" and reserved it for future usage
