   I have a query regarding the correspondence address which I've mentioned in the application form. I'm not living at the address mentioned by me in the application form anymore. However I'm trying my best to inform the people living at that address to let me know if some letter addressed to me, comes there. But what to do in case I do not receive my score card. Can you suggest any helpline no. or something...Please do reply as this may help a lot of candidates facing the same problem...

   I have passed the IBPS po.... it may happen that I have only achieved the cut off marks in each section...if it is so then is it possible to get a call from any bank or will bank call every passed students???

   @ Oli: To get a call from a bank,Your IBPS Score will matter than anything else.so if fall with in the criteria of bank then you will get and Interview call

   Hi, I have cleared the CWE.......I'm an OBC and have OBC certificate for 2009...Will banks ask for latest OBC certificate i.e. 2011 new format or will they accept my 2009 certificate?? I haven't seen anything in IBPS's advertisement or website that we should provide the latest one.

    i had attempted less than 40 percent questions from reasoning,QT,and english paper.Inspite of this my result shows pass.what does it mean? large vacancies are being expected in the banking sector or ibps is trying to encourage us.After all,As we know ,cut off marks will be decided by various banks for the recruitment process. And that time only we will be able to know the reality?But,guys whatever be the situation,atleast we should be thankful to ibps that passing most of the candidates,IBPS has filled us with atleast a little bit of joy and hope.So,hope for the best and get ready for grabbing the winning situation.

    It doesnt matter that you only attempted 40% of the questions and yet you still passed, which would mean that you answered most of the questions right. The examination pattern is such that it is not humanely possible to answer all the questions asked because there are 250 questions and only 150 minutes, which is a little over half a minute for each question, to answer them all. So if one can attempt 50% or more of the questions and can answer most of them right, he/she would pass the exam.
    
    
    Only 10% have passed, which means you are in the top 10%.

    @Deepika: There are 19 PSU Banks and the list is available on ibps website. They wont call anyone. They wud jst publish an ad mentioning the criteria of their selection and the process. Advertisements may start coming up from Jan 2012 onwards. 129 maybe a below average score if u r frm general category but need not worry if frm reserved category...

    A small advice from you, hope you dont mind.
    
    According to you what can be a good competetive score for all cat'gry candidates...(its obvious that only your score card cannot get a job for sure and it also depends on the Interview/GD as well)..
    
    Just acordong to you or else as per your exp what is the competitive score for a Gen cat, OBC and SC cat students...and it depends on the bank as well if am not wrong...

    Anyway I secured 148 and am from SC cat'gry...

    @Uday205 : These are only as per my intution and some knowledge. I can very easily be wrong: Gen-145+ , SC/ST- 120+ , OBC 125+
    I think these would be very safe scores with a good chance of final conversion after adding the marks obtained in final GD/Interview. But again I would say, I may very easily be wrong so don't depend or don't completely believe what I'm saying...this is just what I expect...

    hello sir/madam....suppose if i have qualified in IBPS Score obtained in CWE for POs/MTs held during 2011 or 2012 common entrance test,then it will be applied for only Probationary Officer posts or clerical posts or applied for both recruitment posts...At the same time suppose if i have failed in the IBPS Common entrance test in 2011 or 2012,then is it no chance to apply for any bank in the during of 6months or 1 year???

    IBPS new recruitment strategy is simply playing with the career, patience, time and money of struggling students. IBPS has selected 1.10 lakhs of students through the common entrance exam of 19 public sector banks. These 19 banks are giving recruitment notification with their desired cut off score in IBPS in a random order. Now suppose if a bank specifies a cut off of 140 marks then all students with a score of 140 marks will be prompted to apply for the recruitment but banks will shortlist the upper scorer candidates among all who have applied, and there are nil chances for the students with 140 marks or nearby to be selected. Every bank is doing same thing i.e setting a cut off score and selecting the high score candidates, lower the cut off of a bank, higher will be the number of candidates applying, but bank will be selecting only the top list candidates and the bank will be making more profit via the large number of Demand Drafts. Its good that more deserving candidates are shortlisted for interview but what is more ironical is that through this process a range of high scoring candidates will be applying for all recruitment notifications unless he got the final result of a bank .Only high score candidates will be shortlisted by a number of banks and chances are there that they will be selected in multiple banks but obviously finally they will be joining one bank and wasting all other seats in other banks which could have been offered to some other student. Now if we look at the figures there will be on average 900 vacancies per bank, this implies a total of 19000 vacancies in 19 banks. If approx. 4500 students are called by a bank for 900 posts, then many of these 4500 might be shortlisted for other banks too, with this overlapping only upper 20000 students will be called in multiple banks ….. 19000 seats then what for 1.10 lakh-19000 = 90000 students, they will only be wasting Rs 200 x 19 = 3800/-(per student) and a profit of 3800×9000=342000000(34crores) to IBPS……students will be simply tortured…..what was the need of selecting 1.10 lakhs of the students as every student will be applying for the bank in which his cut off is cleared, they are merely doing business out of this recruitment…………

    Hi, IBPS portal, the status of my CWE PO/MT in the IBPS website says that I have passed the written test, but I am from a science back ground, i:e I have a masters in Biotechnology, I would like to know about my chances in getting a job through this CWE?
