Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Recruitment is back for Graduates, as the Bank had invited online applications for the post of Assistants (Clerks) for its Offices Located in 18 Different cities of India. The Notification containing the Recruitment of Assistants in RBI, is printed in the Leading Newspapers of 28th May, 2013.

In, 2012, a similar recruitment was announced by RBI, in which the bank had invited applications for 1000 Assistant posts, but for 2013 Recruitment, only half the vacancies (525) are advertised. But not Bad, because some thing is better then nothing.

Pay-Scale: Rs 21,419/Month . It is worth mentioning here that RBI is only Nationalized Bank, that is giving Higher salary in Clerical Grade. The starting Salary of other 20 public Sector Banks ranges between Rs 13000/- to Rs 16000/-

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Jobs in RBI ?
To apply for RBI Assistant vacancy, you must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions.
- Age Limit: Applicants above 18 years and below 28 years can apply
- Educational Qualifications: Degree in any discipline with 50% Marks. (Pass in Degree for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
- Applicants must be computer literate with knowledge of word processing
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The Selection Process for the Recruitment of Assistant in RBI, shall consists of an All India Written Test (Online Exam) and followed by Interview. Successful students in the Written test and those who stand high in the Merit List in the Ratio of (1:3) to the number of vacancies will be called for the Written exam
So Remember, merely qualifying all the Individual tests in the RBI Written Exam, doesn't mean that, you will be called for the Interview. In fact, you have score and stand up high in the merit list to be considered for the Interview.
Written Exam: The Written Exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in the 3rd/4th week of July, 2013. As the RBI Assistant Exam goes, online, so will have to appear for this exam in a computerized centre.

Result of RBI Assistant Written Exam
As per the Information, contained in the RBI Detailed Advt, the Roll No.s of successful candidates in the Written Exam, will be published in the Employment Newspaper and also uploaded on the RBI's Official Website

How to Apply ?
Before, you set yourself up for filling the RBI Online Application, here are few things, that you must have with yourself at the time of Online Registration.
- A Scanned Photo of Size between 20kb to 50 kb
- A Scanned Signature of Size between 10kb to 20 kb
- Details of Marks (Like 10th, 12th , Graduation etc )
Application Fees: General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs 400 as application cum Examination fees either through Online OR Offline mode. However, there is No fee for SC/ST/PWD/EXS/Staff.
Online Application. To Apply Online you must have to submit the Online Application on the RBI Official Website (www.rbi.org.in) before 20th June, 2013. The Instructions for submitting the RBI Online Application, is very well explained in the Detailed Advt.
