  • IBPS will conduct Exams twice a year.The exams will be for the post of Probationary Officers,Management Trainees,clerks,Managers and other Specialist Officers

  • IBPS will issue notification specifying the minimum Eligibility conditions in terms of Age limit,Educational Qualifications etc.Merely fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of IBPS doesn't imply that you are eligible for the recruitment in the participating banks

  • IBPS will issue score cards with a validity of One year.The IBPS CWE Score cards will be  delivered to candidates at their correspondence addresses after the declaration of IBPS result

  • IBPS CWE Exam Pattern for Common Written Exam is not different from other banking exam.However there is a minor change in weightage and time duration like In English Section Each Question Carries Half mark,Banking Awareness Sub section is included in General Awareness Section and Descriptive Papers is of 25 marks with duration of 1 hour

For the first time ever in Indian History,Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting the Common Written Exam 2011.The notification to this effect has been issued by the IBPS on 6th July 2011.The CWE is scheduled to be held on 18th September 2011.The Common Written exam is a joint venture of IBPS as well as 19 public sector Banks in India.If you are eying for a career in banking sector,then you must definitely have to appear in IBPS  Common Written Exam 2011

IBPS CWE Exam seems to be no different from other Banking Exams in India.It is worth mentioning here that IBPS is the sole authority for conducting bank exams in India.Previously Several Banks in India are taking the services of IBPS for selection of Personnel.

Each bank will invite applications for recruitment specifying the CWE  Score ,Marks in the Qualifying exam,Age Limit etc.So candidates will have to responds to each bank`s recruitment separately.
