IBPS the main authority for conducting bank recruitment exams in India has decided to conduct Common Written exam for Clerks on three dates viz. 27th November,4th December and 12 December 2011.Earlier the tentative date that was notified in the IBPS Clerical Notification Dated: 24th August 2011 is only 27th November 2011.These dates were rescheduled in order to accommodate large number of candidates who have registered for the exam.

In our previous posts we have penned down the complete procedure for Downloading the IBPS Call letter for Clerks but still we find in our comment section and  emails from most of our readers that they are unable to download the IBPS Call letter from the IBPS Official Website.So we have decided to write down some of common mistakes that the candidates must avoid so that they can successfully download the call letter.Most of the candidates are getting this message box after they enter the Registration details in the Call letter download page

So Lets us explore as to why this "Invalid Login" Message box appears every time you enter correct registration details.

The main reason that is identified by our team of experts is that students are entering Incorrect format in Date of Birth field.In the call letter download page the date of Birth Format is (DD-MM-YY) and not (DD-MM-YYYY).So most candidates are entering their Birth Year in complete i.e (YYYY-1990,1986) etc.It must be written as only (YY i.e 86,90).

Apart from this reason is that candidates are using the wrong link for downloading the call letter.On the call letter download page i.e (www.ibps.in/html/common.htm), there are five links so you can to click on the right link in order to Download the call letter.For the convenience of our reader we are giving the direct Link from where you can download the IBPS Clerk Call letter

Another important update given by IBPS is that Examination centers of Some students have been changed due to unavailability of seats in a particular area.

Candidates are advised in their own interest to to attempt login for downloading call letter at least 3 to 5 times at different time period.If however after entering the correct registration details and correct date of birth format you are getting "Invalid Login " Message box then they may contact the Organisation and / or write to us at callletter_helpdesk@ibpsorg.org with the text of auto-generated email received at the time of registration or scanned copy of registered application.

Any communication without scanned copy of registered application or auto generated email (received at the time of registration) will not be entertained.

As all of us know that IBPS is conducting the Supplementary Exam for PO and Management Trainees on 14th November 2011 (Sunday) .The Supplementary exam is being conducted by IBPS for only those students who could not appear in the IBPS CWE for PO and MT that was held on 18th September 2011 due to the negligence of candidates for not bringing the Identity details with them at the time of Examination.So this supplementary exam is being conducted for only those candidates who has submitted their request for Supplementary exam on the IBPS Official Website between 1st October 2011 to 12th October 2011.

Call Letter for IBPS PO/MT Supplementary Exam 2011:   

Those candidates who have successfully registered  for IBPS Supplementary exam can download their call letters from the IBPS Official website (www.ibps.in) after 1st November 2011.The Call letter can be downloaded by entering the registration details like (Registration Number,Password and Date of Birth) on the Call letter Download page.

At the time of Examination the candidates identity is verified by checking the Call letter,Payment Receipt and Photo Identity Proof by the Invigilator.The Photocopy of Identity proof,Original call letter and Original payment receipt will have to surrendered.If at any point of time whether during the examination or after the examination if candidates eligibility and identity is found to be acquired with false means or by making false statements then his/her candidature is likely to be canceled and he/she may face a criminal action.

In the examination hall the candidate`s identity is verified by matching the details contained in the Call letter and the Attendance sheet.Candidates are advised in their own interest to "Subscribe By Mail" by entering their email address in the box below Labelled as "Get all the updates for Bank Exams in your In box" so that they may not miss any important update regarding IBPS Exams 2011-2012.

IBPS will conduct the Common Written Exam for Clerks on 27th November 20114th December and 12th December 2011.Although this date is tentative and actual date will be published on the IBPS Official Website and also in the Information Handout that can be downloaded along with Call letter.

All candidates who have applied for the Common Written Exam for Clerks can download their call letters from the Official website of IBPS after 11th November 2011.Candidates can download their call letters by entering their Registration Number and Date of Birth on the Call letter page.After that candidates will have to take the Print out of the call letter.Candidates can also download the Information Handout that contains the details about the IBPS Clerk Exam 2011

It is worth while mentioning here that No Hard copy of IBPS Call letter will be issued to candidates at their respective correspondence addresses

Candidates will have to bring the following documents with them at the time of Written Examination:

Candidates identity in the examination hall will be verified by the concerned Invigilator by matching the details of the candidates in the attendance sheet.If there is a mismatch the candidature of candidate is most likely to be rejected.Candidates are informed well in advance to check the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the exam.

Important Update: Today IBPS had notified on its official website that Call Letter for Clerks can be downloaded only after 15th November 2011

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducting the All India First Common Written Exam (CWE) 2011 for Probationary Officers and Management Trainees on 18th September 2011.(tentative)approximately 1 to 2 million students have registered for this exam,there by making it the toughest exam ever in Indian History,by the number of candidates registered.

IBPS will issue the Call letter for Common bank exam 2011 after 4th September 2011.Here are a few steps for Downloading the Call latter from IBPS website (www.ibps.in).

Candidates must ensure that they have the Online Application Details Like Registration Number and Password that was generated at the time of submitting Online Application.

Candidates can download the call letter only after the 4th September 2011 from the IBPS official website.Along with call letter a information handout is also provided that contain the details for IBPS Common Exam 2011.

In the examination hall,candidates will have to bring the Cash receipt in original,along with original call letter and an Identity proof Document(Passport,Pan Card,Driving License,Bank Passbook,Voter card etc) failing which candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam.The identity of the candidate is verified by matching the details in the attendance sheet and the Call Letter.If there is a mismatch,then candidature of Applicant is likely to be dismissed.

Update: Due to last minute hurry and Heavy traffic on IBPS Website the IBPS Database is crashed.So Students who still have not downloaded the Roll Number will not be able to download the Roll Number.This is complete mismanagement by IBPS on their part to handle the technical problems.If you have any problem you can raise your voice against IBPS by Posting in comments below.We will try to contact IBPS at the earliest or request then to postpone the exam
