A good News is coming for all those who have been appeared in the IBPS PO Exam and waiting for the results.At last Today, IBPS had announced the must awaited results of 2nd Common Written Examination (CWE) PO/MT Exam 2012. Only 8 % students have been declared as Qualified in the Written Exam. It is expected that close to 7.5 lakh students have appeared in the exam and only 61,339 candidates have been declared as successful.

Govt's Nod to Common Interview for Jobs in Public Sector Banks
In our previous post, we have discussed about that there will be Common Interviews for Bank Jobs in India. The News is Official Now and the Government of India, had agreed to IBPS's proposal for conducting Common Interviews for Bank Jobs in the 20 Nationalized Banks.The New system will be operational with immediate effect, this means that IBPS PO-2 Qualifiers are likely to be the First One's appear in the Common Bank Interviews, conducted by IBPS and not in Individual Bank's Interviews.
IBPS will be conducting Common Interview at different Places and Locations, so as to assist Regional Candidates and those belonging to far-flung ares
Experts in Banking Sector are of the view that Common Interviews for Bank Jobs is a good move by IBPS, as it will cut down the Multiple Selection of Candidates in Banks, for which the IBPS is being criticized, since the IBPS Platform was introduced in 2011.

Why IBPS PO Result in Delayed ?
IBPS had conducted the 2nd CWE for PO on 17th June, 2012 and there had been lot of talk on the Internet as to why the IBPS is not declaring the PO Results on time and more than 100 Days have passed, but still there are no signs of the result.
The reason as to Why the IBPS PO Results gets delayed is due to the reason that IBPS and Banks have been busy in formulating a strategy for conducting the Common Bank Interviews and reviewing the Strategy of the Recruitment Process.The New Recruitment procedure will be implemented for the IBPS PO-2 Qualifiers
As, we have reported earlier that IBPS PO Result is expected to be declared in the Month of August, but it was delayed only that Banks and IBPS are working on this NEW and improved Recruitment Procedure and wants to get it implemented for IBPS-2 Exam.
IBPS PO Result Expected Date: As, the new IBPS Recruitment procedure is now completed, so IBPS result can be declared any time in October, But as per information received from IBPS through a Telephonic Conversation, the result is expected to be Declared in the October Ist Week

In April, 2012, Govt of India had passed an order that Graduation is must for Clerical posts in Banks, On this the then IBPS Director said,
That the Government order on making graduation as minimum qualification was a “recent development” which came after IBPS conducted the written exam.So, it is must for all Banks to follow the criteria laid down in the IBPS Clerk Advt.
Should PNB have to revise its Eligibility Criteria ?

- Call Letters can be downloaded only from the Official Website of IBPS ie, www.ibps.in. So open www.ibps.in your Browser.
- After opening it, now you have to click on the link marked as CWE-RRBs on the left side of the page.
- Again, on this page, you have to click on the appropriate link, that points for Downloading the Call letter.
- On the Call letter Download Page, the System requires you to enter your Registration Details (Like Registration No and Password).The Registration details were generated at the time of submitting the online application and the same were emailed as a conformation
- After entering the Details, you have to click on the "SUBMIT" button.After that, your Call letter will appear on the Screen.
- Now there are two options either You can save the Call Letter in PDF Format or you can take the Print Out of the Call letter.
Students are also advised to Check their In Box regularly, as there is every Likelihood that IBPS may also send the Call Letters by Email.
Must Remember !
The Call letter is the Mandatory Document for appearing in the IBPS RRB Exam and the same must be produced at the time of Written Examination.Along with Call letter, you will also have to produce your Identity Proof in Original as well as Photocopy.
Students are also advised in their own interest to reach the Examination Hall well before the Time Printed in the Call letter, in order to avoid the last minute trouble.

- On the Home Page, click on the CWE PO/MT March 2012 Link on the left side of the page.
- On the New page, click on the appropriate Link to check the IBPS PO CWE Result
- On the Result Page, you can check the result by entering your
Registration Details Like Registration Number OR Roll No. and Password
Or Date of Birth. and click on the Submit Button
- After that, the Result Status will appear on the Screen. The Result status for Qualified Candidates will be PASS, where as for Unqualified candidates, it will be FAIL.
