In terms of Number of posts, Central Bank of India (CBI) Clerk vacancy is huge, as it had advertised over 3100 posts (3196 to be exact). Only Bank of India is other PSB, that had announced over 3000 vacancies. There fore, some relief for candidates who are still awaiting appointments in Public Sector Banks after the Declaration of the IBPS Clerk Results.


The Online Registrations to apply for Clerk Vacancies in Central Bank of India (CBI), is going to commence from 22nd December, 2012 and last Date for Submitting the Online Application is 7th January, 2012

Central Bank of India had advertised a total of 3196 vacancies all over the India for the Recruitment in Clerical Cadre. It is worth mentioning here that applicants can apply for Clerk Jobs only in the Stat/UT, where they have appeared for the IBPS Clerk CWE.

What is Eligibility for Clerk Vacancy in Central Bank of India ?


To apply for Clerk Vacancies in Central Bank of India, you must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility criteria.
  • Age Limit: You must have attained 18 years of age and Must not be over 28 years of Age.
  • Degree in any Discipline OR Pass with Min 50 % Marks in 12th Class OR Pass with 60 % marks in  10th Class.
  • Knowledge of Computers and Proficiency in Local language of the the state
  •  Must have obtained the Minimum Marks in each section of the Objective test. Minimum Marks ( 24 - For Gen and 21 For Others)

How to Apply ?


Applicants who full fill the above mentioned Eligibility criteria, can apply for Clerk vacancies in Central Bank of India, by following the steps mentioned below

  1. Applicants will first have to deposit an application fee of Rs 100 (For Gen/OBC) and Rs 20 (For Others) through a Challan form in any Central Bank of India's branch. Applicants must obtain the Candidates Copy of the Challan form containing the Transaction No.
  2. After depositing the Fee, applicants will have to Fill the Online Application form at the Website of Central Bank of India www.centralbankofindia.co.in.
  3. After filling the Online form, applicants will have to take the Print Out of the System Generated Challan form and must preserve it till the Final Selection

  2. This post has raised my hope,even after clearing IBPS Clerk Exam(2011),i did not get any call from any of the Banks.But this time i hope to get a call as minimum required marks fall below then marks obtained by me.hoping for best.
