PNB Must Revise its Eligibilty Criteria for Clerk Vacancies

After a gap of 2-3 Months, Clerical Jobs for IBPS Qualifiers have been announced and this time Punjab National Bank (PNB) had announced its vacancy for Clerical posts. This news is surely to bring smiles of the Faces of IBPS Clerk Qualifiers, but will also disappoint some of the candidates, who have passed the IBPS Clerk Exam. The Disappointment of PNB Clerk Recruitment 2012 is related to Eligibility Criteria.

Who is Responsible for this PNB or IBPS ?

Here are few points that I would like to pin-point in this Article
  1. IBPS had invited the applications for the Clerk CWE from the candidates who have the 12th Class and are in the Age Group of 18 to 28 year
  2. PNB invited applications for SWO/Clerk vacancies from the candidates who are graduates and in the Age group of 20-25 years.
So the Question here is,
  • Why there is a Difference in the Eligibility criteria.?
  • Who is responsible for this Mess IBPS or PNB. ?
  • Why they are playing with the future of the Candidates
We want that someone from PNB or IBPS must come forward and answer these Questions.

In April, 2012, Govt of India had passed an order that Graduation is must for Clerical posts in Banks, On this the then IBPS Director said,
That the Government order on making graduation as minimum qualification was a “recent development” which came after IBPS conducted the written exam.
So, it is must for all Banks to follow the criteria laid down in the IBPS Clerk Advt.

Should PNB have to revise its Eligibility Criteria ?

The HR Deptt of PNB must look into this matter, as it is concerned with the future of thousands of Candidates who have passed the IBPS Clerk Exam.Applicants who are not happy with the PNB Eligibility criteria are advsied to contact the HR Deptt of Punjab National Bank .

  1. I fully Agree with you that PNB must revise its Eligibility Criteria and IBPS must be Banned !

  2. are ibps ko hi ban kar dena chahiye aise v they do not do their work in a proper way.In early annoucement that they conduct cwe exam twice for po/mt and clerk in one year but its not happened.aur v bahut sare complain hai against ibps,so i think ise khatm hi kar dena chahiye

  3. once a student got offer his roll no should not be accepted in remaining banks this software should be implemented by ibps so that each can get atleast one interview.i got 148 marks OBC till now no call.

  4. I m a candidate from Tamilnadu , got 143 marks(OBC)..I Hate IBPS System... Must be banned..I called for IOB interview only, according to my state cutoff.. Today IOB result came.. I m very disappointed with the results.. Very High cut off marks they decided.. Out of 300 (250+50) marks, For Gen 209, OBC 206, SC 194..Selected candidates must have above 165 in written marks.. Interview conducted for 50 marks.. I got only 143 mark in written exam, even if full marks was alloted for me in interview, my total is 193 only.. Then why they called me for interview... It is very cheating for all candidates who secured low marks(<160).. One of my frnd secured 174 marks in written exam, he got selected in all bank interviews where he attended interview.. It is place for toppers only.. Very Worst system.. IBPS, plz come to 1 gud conclusion as soon as Possible for our future..

  5. pnb should revise its eligibility criteria for clerk vacancies. i think ibps goes on its way at a best level

  6. IBPS is acting like an agent to get crores of money to all the banks in the name of exam fee and interview fee, fooling the common people.
    Definitely it should be banned
