IBPS Notification 2011 for Recruitment of Clerks through a Common Written Exam on 27.11.2011
A good news for all the Bank Job Seekers that Today i.e on 23rd August 2011,IBPS has once again issued the IBPS Clerk through a Common Written Exam that is tentatively scheduled to be held on 27th November 2011
Important Dates for Common Written Exam for Clerks:
Staring Date of Online Registration: 25-08-2011
Starting date of Payment of Application fees: (24-08-2011 to 23-09-2011)
Last Date of Online Registration: 26-09-2011
Download of Call Letters for Written Exam: After 11.11.2011
Date of Written Exam: 24.11.2011

A Candidates who wants to join any of the participating banks mentioned above in clerical Cadre can join only by appearing in the common Written Exam 2011 for Clerks.After the written exam ,scorecards will be issued to candidates and candidates can respond to the call for the recruitment by above mentioned banks as and when required.
Each individual banks will issue the notification for recruitment in clerical cadre specifying its own Eligibility Criteria,Minimum CWE Score and Number of vacancies.Candidates who meet the criteria notifies by the banks can then respond to Individual banks recruitment and apply for the Job in particular Bank.
Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.08.2011)
A Candidate who fulfill the Eligibility Criteria mentioned below can apply for Common Written Exam for Clerks in November 2011
Nationality: A candidates desirous of appearing in Common Written Exam for Clerks must be:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan

Age Limit: Min: 18 years Max: 28 years (General Category Only)
(Relaxation in Age as per Rules of Government of India)
Educational Qualifications: A Candidate aspires to appear for Common Written Exam for Clerks must have the following educational Qualifications:
60% Marks in Matriculation (10th Class)/SSC under (10+2+3) Pattern
OR
OR
A graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized University of India.
Note:The Educational Qualification specified above is only for General Category Candidates.For Educational Qualifications of other candidates refer to the Advt
Application Fees: An Application fees of Rs 50 (For SC/ST/PWD/EXSM) and Rs 350 (For Others) have to be paid between 24.08.2011 to 23.09.2011 by the payment methods mentioned below:
Online Mode: In Online mode
- The application fees is to be deposited only at the time of filling Online Application form.The Payment Gateway is integrated with the Application form and application fee can be submitted by following the On screen instructions.
- Applicants must have the facility of Internet Banking or Credit card/Debit card before making the payment through Online mode.
- After the Payment is deducted from your bank Account the System will generate an Electronic Receipt.
- The Electronic Receipt must be printed and preserved till the Written Examination
Candidates will have to download the cash voucher from the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in) and take the Print out of Cash voucher and fill in All the details mentioned in the cash voucher.
After filling the Cash Voucher candidates will have to deposit the Application fees mentioned above in any of the banks mentioned below:
(i) payment of fees / intimation charges through CBS branches of the following
6 Public Sector Banks
Bank of Baroda (Account No. 03970200001597),
Bank of India (Account No. 005120110000777),
Central Bank of India (Account No. 3135147199),
Indian Overseas Bank (Account No. 143502000000850),
Punjab National Bank (Account No. 3985002100046381),

(ii) Payment of fees/ intimation charges through NEFT at branches of other 13
Public Sector Banks
Candidates are required to fill the NEFT receipt(Format available on IBPS website)
as required by the Bank with beneficiary details as follows.

Payee Bank : Bank of India
IFSC Code : BKID0000051
After depositing the Application fees candidates will be issued Receipt containing the Number,Branch Name and DP Code Number.The Details in the receipt can be used at the time of filling Online Application and must be preserved till the Common Written Examination.
Procedure for Applying: Before Applying Online candidates must ensure that they have the following details:
- Scanned Photo and Signature
- Details of Application fees
- A valid Email Address
- Details of Marks of the Qualifying Examinations
- Candidates can apply Online at the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in).
- Candidates will then have to Click on the Link marked as "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- CLERICAL CADRE NOVEMBER 2011" to open the application form
- After that candidates must follow the On Screen Instructions and fill the Application form with utmost care.
- After Successful Submission of Online Registration form, a system Generated Application form will be generated.This Form must be printed and preserved till the Exam is over
